Two years ago, the day before the fourth of July, our friends, mentors, and youth pastor and his family--the Hibbs family-- announced to us they were moving to California, to work at Hume Lake Christian Camps. We were super sad about it, till we found out the next evening we were moving along with them to California. As we all packed our things and did movie nights with friends before leaving, Kevin Hibbs asked us to do a cover of this song, 'Stay Gold', by First Aid Kit.

Due to crazy busyness, life, struggles and the like, it took a while-- two years, to be exact. But here it is, meaning a lot to the both of our families as we remember our homes and family in Kansas, and face new life adventures here in the wild and beautiful mountains of California.

Thank you, Kevin and family, for all the support, love, direction, and care you've shown us. You've been an amazing family to us.

Let's make it a year of healing in our relationships. Let's face our struggles. Let's stop pretending that we have it all together. Let's be the person that we've always wanted to be. The only way for that to happen is through a life humbly submitted to Jesus Christ. He is our only hope for restoration in our broken lives, relationships, and messy minds. Stop Pretending He isn't there. Turn your life around to Christ and be healed. There is hope. Happy New Year friends.
